Do cats feel jealous?
Yes. Especially if you are giving a lot of attention to another cat. They're like children in that they can be jealous about sharing affection. They have various ways of showing it, mostly by misbehaving. Now envy, they don't really feel; I doubt any cat has looked at a kitten and thought, "I wish I were that cute" or "if only I were a Siamese."
Are dogs and cats able to get along?
yes. some do not but some do and it just depends on how friendly they are. i have 2 dogs and 3 cats living together and they do fine. just a little hissing and barking sometimes but that is about it!
Will a cat get on with a Siberian husky?
I have two Siberian huskies and they have killed all the neighbours cats. I also had a cat, and the three of them have been living together for three years now. But they have killed the cat now. I don't think huskies and cats should live together.

Yes cats can live with other cats but some cats are stubborn and don't like sharing their space. If your cat is a nice one it will probably welcome the new cat just as you do. It's all about personality. Animals have personalities just as people do. Some are more aggressive and territorial, whereas others are affectionate and quite happy to share their people.

Yes cats have an alpha structure. Depending on weather the cat is female or male and if the female cat is sprayed and the male is neutered. Making the female have a larger territory when it coming from the kittens.

Most animals are in a constant fight for dominance. Two female cats can fight for dominance over an area over the house, as there is only one alpha in a pack. these instincts stem from wild cats, when there was an alpha, a beta and all the animals underneath.
