Yes, there are many reasons a candidate may be cut from the program. These include but are not limited to: the determination by medical personnel that it would be unduly hazardous for an injured/sick candidate to continue training (often this allows for 'recycling, or starting the training over when the illness or injury has passed), inability to perform the required training (i.e. if a candidate cannot swim past the surf zone when so ordered, or cannot continue on a march or run), if the candidate attempts to 'cheat' during an training evolution or assessment, if a candidate flagrantly engages in dangerous behavior, if a candidate displays an unwillingness to fully engage in the training (gold bricking, shifting the bulk of effort onto other team members, etc). . . This list is not exhaustive but includes some of the reasons a candidate may be cut from training. Generally instructors will attempt to cause the candidate to DOR (Drop on Request) or 'quit' the training voluntarily by applying psychological stress and/or assigning additional physical training to a candidate whom they do not feel should or can continue the training. This weeding out process begins with the first hour of training and is continued throughout. According to the Navy's website approximately 80% of all candidates 'drop out' of the training voluntarily, the few who are forced out are usually for medical reasons.
Horse trainers are who most people think of when it comes to training a horse, but really everyone who handles that specific horse is training it in one way or another. Many people train their own horses due to tight finances or because they are skilled enough to handle the horse.
Hi! I just got finished with training at Panera Bread and I have to tell you it's wonderful. Everyone there is amazing, and the trainers are, once again, wonderful. You get paid for training, which made me happy. It really depends on what you're training for. I'm a cashier so we learned how to package up the unsold breads and bakery items to be delivered and how to handle transactions and things like that.
A supervisor gets training to handle the company or other work. I have seen supervisors have leadership quality, communication skills and supervisors know that how to handle the team. If you feel you have to get more training for being a supervisor so you will get perfect training and after that handle the team and work also.

In my past experience Timberhorn IT Solutions has always been the go to company, they offer customized training, from on-site to in class. They'll even handle exceptions with one on one training for the guys that can't make the classes due to their work responsibilities. They offer a very wide number of certifications and I've never come into contact with more highly qualified professional trainers. Some of these guys they'll even fly in from Europe.

If you talk about the whip used by the ringmaster, the French call it chambriere (chambrière): A long, thin handle, and a long, thin lash, used during the Liberty Horse Act. Whips used by animal trainers (so-called "lion tamers") have no specific name to my knowledge.
