They live in the oceans, in saltwater.
Yes, occasionally on orca will head up a deep river. In, fact, where i live in Canada an orca swam into Hudson Bay, and 250 kms inland to Baker Lake. It had apparently lived there for some months, until the local inuit decided to kill it for food. It is rare for them to head up river though. It all depends on whether the lake has enough food to sustain them or not. This lake happened to be full of fish, as well as seals (also rare for them to stay in freshwater). I know for a fact that dolphins and belugas can stay in rivers and lakes for long periods of time.
Orcas can live in both cold and warm waters, but they prefer cold.
they live in small Creeks and bathtubs
They live in the oceans, in saltwater.
Yes.
Orcas live in the icy waters around Alaska and other areas around the Arctic Circle. The waters are very cold and are filled with chunks of ice and meager vegetation.
no, they swim over warm and deep waters sometimes
Orcas live all around the world, and it is my understanding that the temperature varies greatly. There are orcas in the Arctic and in tropical waters. It all just depends.
no orcas live in deep ocean waters while manatees live in freshwater oceans and tropical rivers
no orcas live in deep ocean waters while manatees live in freshwater oceans and tropical rivers
yes they do,orca whales eat penguins and penguins live in the Antarctic.
Orcas pass through Jamaican waters yearly.
every ocean. the cold oceans are where most orcas live
Well, yes. Orcas have a thick layer of blubber (body fat) under their skin. But, when it is time to have young, orcas will have to leave their summer, cold water feeding grounds to go to warmer waters, where they live off of their blubber, and have young, because little ones have blubber layers that are too thin to survive in the Arctic or Antarctic feeding grounds.
Orca's live in all waters around the world. Mostly cold waters ^^ So there might be a chance they live in Australian waters too.
It depends on the species of whale. Humpback whales live in the Pacific and Atlantic Ocean. Orcas live in colder waters near Alaska and Canada.
Different species of starfish can be found in warm, cold, and temperate waters.
