Does Depo-Provera cause insomnia

It's been 6 weeks since I had my first depo shot and it has caused me serious sweats, especially at night and insomnia. Even though I take a low dose of ambien to help with sleep, it still is very hard to get any sleep. It stopped my period right away but I started having the insomnia and horrible sweats. I will most likely have to deal with the side effects because it is prescribed to me for endometreosis,to keep it under control after surgery.
