they all have good quality!!
rwy cables are much better known as RCA cables. search for hdmi to RCA, you should find some on eBay for about 5 bucks.
HDMI cables should be manufactured to the HDMI standard and have the HDMI logo on the cable or packing. The logo should guarantee that the cable will operate correctly. Because HDMI is fully digital, a cable will either work or it won't. There will be no improvement in quality by purchasing more expensive cables. Claims by manufacturers that their cable must be used for "full quality" or "best quality" are misleading. Certain manufacturers offer cables in excess of $300. Be assured that they will provide EXACTLY the same quality of image and sound as a $10 cable. Of course, the $300 cable might look better! Although some cables may be more robust than others, this is only likely to make a difference if the cable will be repeatedly connected and disconnected. Other than that, expect the lowest cost cables to perform as well and last as long as the most expensive.
Some good brands that manufacture hdmi cables are rocketfish, sony and samsung. They have a long lasting cable and high quality picture. These are available at BestBuy.
Both HDMI 1.1 and DVI are equal quality as far as video is concerned but only HDMI can carry audio as well. HDMI 1.3 has an option for Deep-Colour support - meaning more colours than maybe some older DVI displays can display. Be aware that all HDMI devices are likely to be HDCP compliant to protect content such as Blu-ray movies while older DVI devices may not have HDCP capability and so will not sure protected images.
HDMI cables do not usually get reviews because they are not faulty and are inexpensive. Some HDMI cables may have reviews if they are specially made or are a specific brand with new features.
HDMI is a digital interface that conforms to specific standards set out by the HDMI Organization. Any licensed and tested cable that conforms to the specification for HDMI cabling will operate as well as any other. The nature of the data transmission used by HDMI interfaces means that no cable will provide better quality than any other. Claims by manufacturers that their cable will provide "better quality" images are at best misleading. While some cables may be more robust than others this does not in any way affect image quality.
No DVI is better for quality than some other options like analog cables.
The HDMI cable should be plugged in to an HDTV. If you have a Laptop or PC with a HDMI plug slot on it is also so it can be plugged in to a HDTV and is an out HDMI PLUG SLOT like the one that is on the PS3. Some HDMI cables that are sold are of low quality and do not work, stick with brand name cables that are not purchased from highly counterfeit sources in overseas locations.
Any HDMI cable should be 720p compatible. When running 1080p some low quality HDMI cables may have problems when longer than say 5 metres.
Any Hdmi cable can be used to connect your Xbox to your Hdtv. However you can purchase cables both component and Hdmi made be Microsoft for connecting your system other manufacturers of Hdmi cables include Monster cables and Sony.
It shouldn't since HDMI is a digital signal the cable shouldn't matter. I have seen $10 cables look the exact same as a $100 cable. But if its a really crappy manufacturer, I'm sure that the quality could be degrated. I would stick to some name brands. I have some Belkin cables that look outstanding that were only $8 on amazon.
HDMI is a signal interface that carries digital data. As long as the data is received without error, the quality of signal remains identical. HDMI cables that are properly tested will carry an HDMI signal without errors and therefore no cable will produce better results than any other. A fault with a cable normally results in no signal being displayed rather than a poor quality signal. Better quality cables will tend to be a larger diameter than cheap cables and use better quality contacts as well. These will bot contribute to long term reliability but neither will affect image quality in any way.
