Do you believe the world is destined to burn to a crisp dramatized like the Bible predicts for the end of the world?

Jesus prayed to His Father: "...Thy Word is Truth..." (John 17:17), meaning, The Bible is the Truth.

Therefore, what is written prophetically WILL HAPPEN, whether anyone "believes" it or not.

But, the Bible doesn't say "burn to a crisp." It says: "...the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and THE ELEMENTS SHALL MELT WITH FERVENT HEAT, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things SHALL BE DISSOLVED... the heavens BEING ON FIRE SHALL BE DISSOLVED, and THE ELEMENTS SHALL MELT WITH FERVENT HEAT... we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth..." (II Peter 3:10-13).

Everything burns. Matter is therefore, "compacted energy" [or spirit] that has varying degrees of density... each type of matter having its own temperature at which it "catches fire and burns."

Rocks require a much higher temperature than paper to burn. Fire can "purify" precious metals, remove the impurities that may exist in it... thus making it "more precious and valuable and more rare."

The Bible points to more of a "purification" process in the prophesied fire that's coming... not "burning to a crisp."

It mentions "no more sea" - Rev.21:1 on the New Earth, resulting from the coming fire that will apparently spread to consume the planet at the conclusion of Judgment Day - Rev.20:14-15.

The drying up of all the oceans of earth would require a "fervent heat" to "evaporate" them.

Sand turns to glass at the right temperature. And according to the Bible... the Holy City, New Jerusalem, that shall descend from God's heaven onto the New Earth, will be gold in its purest state:

"...the city was PURE GOLD, LIKE UNTO CLEAR GLASS." (Rev.21:18)

Evidently... all the impure elements in and on the earth shall be "burned up"... and only the rarest and most precious elements shall remain. Even the vast expanse of sandy seashores and ocean bottoms around the world will convert to glass. It's been said that the greatest source of gold in the world is found in the teeming "dust particles" of it in the oceans.

So, be it purified gold or altered grains of sand... at the right temperature, they both appear as perhaps other precious stones and metals as "clear crystal."

"That Great City, the Holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal..." (Rev.21:10-11).

There shall be nothing but the best for the Father when He descends upon the New Earth [not, man going to heaven - but, heaven on earth].

The Father's throne, the GOVERNING SEAT OF THE UNIVERSE, shall become the New Earth when He comes down to it to BE WITH HIS CHILDREN. And the New Earth shall be nothing less than a "BRILLIANT SHINING JEWEL" in the midst of the universe, cleansed of every impurity [and all the past sinful works done by man and his deceiving god, Satan] by the coming fire... with only the most rare and precious of elements remaining.

"Burned to a crisp" pictures "charred remains"... charcoal and ashes. But even charcoal under the right heat and pressure produces "diamonds." The "crispy" ashes of the impure of the earth shall be "dissolved"... and only perfection shall remain on the New Earth.

The "end of the world" of which the Bible speaks, is the the "end of man's rule on the earth." The end of the "allotted time" God has given man to learn the lessons he needs to learn about living in sin and where it leads.

It's the end of this world as we know it... not the end of the earth.

"Unto Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, WORLD WITHOUT END. AMEN." (Eph.3:21)

The Bible is the Truth. And the elements of the earth will melt with fervent heat... resulting in a Perfect Shining Gorgeous Jewel called New Earth. The Bible doesn't require that anyone believe it for it to be nonetheless True. It's going to happen anyway.

Another Consideration:

The world - Kosmos that you now live in today, this moment, is made up of the epiphanies and doctrines of flesh men. Where do these elements go when there is no flesh? When flesh is consumed as written in 1st Corinthians 15... In a moment in a twinkling of an eye... at the last Trumpet.

It is written that flesh and blood can not inherit the Kingdom of God... Why? A read through Daniel will give you a hint at what happens to flesh mankind when they are in the same moment in time as those pure in spirit.

Will there be a need for cars and houses and computers an the vast array of other stuff created by flesh mankind once this 2nd of 3 earth ages ends?

Mankind in the flesh was always considered a temporary event, what use are any of its prognostications and devices once flesh mankind is no longer in existence?

Can the impurities created by flesh mankind stand in the presence of our Father? The answer is obviously no... Therefore the Kosmos created for flesh mankind is no longer needed and its simply burned up.

No, simply because the sun is only a medium-sized star. Only massive stars flair up a super-novas capable of destroying their solar systems. Our sun is expected to slowly dim over the next few billion years, leaving the earth as a cold and lifeless planet.
