I would hope so. One will send their federal return to the IRS, and their state return to their state ... they are never mailed to the same address.

There is no requirement to mail them at the same time ... as long as they ARE mailed by the deadline, usually April 15th (unless that falls on a weekend).

You have to pay them both every year and can file for an extenstion but have to do for both seperatly.
