Shunt resistors are used with ammeters; voltmeters require series resistors.
I need answer of this question plz as soon as possible
Shunt means parallel only..................
You need to use the 250 Ohm resistor in series with HART protocol communication because it acts as a shunt resistor.
Why would you buy something that does absolutely nothing? If you need a "zero ohm resistor", just don't connect any resistor at all.Why would you buy something that does absolutely nothing? I can only assume that you are attempting to connect 480VAC coil from a elevator to a fire system in order to shunt the elevator. In order to do this you will need a shunt trip breaker rated for this use.
A resistor is connected in series with a practical voltage source in order to determine the current produced by the source.
Yes. You can use a voltage divider. Say, for instance, one 1KOhm resistor in series with a 3KOhm resistor. Connect the 3k resistor to the 48 volts and connect the 1k resistor to ground. The 1k resistor will have 12 volts acress it. These resistors need to be at least 1 watt each as they are going to dissipate 0.576 watts and get warm. Now, if you attempt to pull power from the 1k resistor, note that regulation will be poor because the impedance of the load will go in parallel with the 1k resistor and change its value.
the blower motor resistor is located behind the blower motor which is located behind the glove box there is clip wires you need to disconnect and then connect the new one.
Absolutely. Only you need connect together two wires coming from each lamp holder (shunt).
A TEE is a transesophageal echo, which is a diagnostic test. A cardiac shunt is a separate thing altogether, as it is surgery. Perhaps they performed a TEE and as a result, felt there was a need to proceed further and explore the need for a shunt?
You would need to take the "input" wire for the shunt trip breaker to an electrical switch (not alarm initiating switch, which are DC voltage rated) within the Automan unit and connect to the "Common" connection and the "return", the wire to the actual shunt circuit of the breaker, from the "Normally Open" connection of the switch. When the unit activates, the switch will be placed into "Closed" position, therefore completing the circuit and activating the shunt coil.
The shunt used for a person who has hydrocephalus ("water on the brain") is not called a "value shunt". It is usually called a "ventriculo-peritoneal shunt" or "VP shunt" for short. Sometimes a "ventriculo-atrial shunt" or "VA shunt" is used instead.
