Park Location: 450 West 700 South

Park History: Willow Park and Willow Park Zoo are located at 419 West 700 South, Logan, Utah. The park occupies 15 acres adjacent to the Cache County Fairgrounds. Willow Park was established in 1885, and the zoo opened around 1971.

The mission of Willow Park Zoo is to perform professional animal care, promote wildlife conservation, and provide opportunities for recreation, education and scientific studies that support wildlife conservation. The zoo hosts a vast assortment of birds, along with monkeys, deer, and small mammals. The information signs prove visiting to be fun yet educational.

Admission to the zoo is 50 cents to $1. The zoo remains open 362 days of the year. (Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day)

The zoo is funded by the State of Utah, the City of Logan, and Cache County RAPZ tax. Some funding comes in the form of donations from businesses and private individuals. These donations include cash, food, materials, exhibit specimens, and an Adopt-an-Animal program.

Willow Park is a popular park with the residents of Cache Valley. Active and passive activities abound in the park, zoo, and the other 3 surrounding parks. Individual users to family reunions frequent this site. Willow Park offers play and picnicking in a heavily shaded space.
