Yes and No. Manifest Destiny states that the US Citizens should own all of the land in North America during the early years of the United States. The US Government now controls most of North America, so that would be a "No". However, some extremists believe that the USA should control all of the land in that the eye can see (with satellite technology, that would be the whole planet). That would be a "Yes". In reality, Manifest Destiny is a severely outdated concept and should not be applied to the current state of affairs. That would mean that "No" would be a more sensible answer.

∙ 13y agoIt doesn't. It no longer exsists. Manifest Destiny was American pioneers moving west. We were destined to manifest all the land from the east coast to the west. Since we already conceived that destiny, it no longer applies.

the manifest destiny was a belief saying that it was the right and duty for us to spread across the North American Continent, so the positive impact would be that the manifest destiny meant that we needed more land for more opportunities, and more land meant more money, which showed how destiny was involved as the people of America made more money by having more land, which we have today!hope this helped ;)
