Another carnivore would take its place as the top.
the food that the carnivore would increase (secondary carnivores). and the food that the secondary carnivores ate would decrease because there are too many secondary carnivores...
The whole food chain would be affected.
Well the other organisms that are usually preyed upon by the 2nd level carnivore may quickly increase because no one is eating it. But there food supply would decrease IF they overpopulate. Then they would go back down to there regular population because of the food shortage. The oranisms that would decrease in population are the 1rst level carnivores( but before they increased) and all the insects and small rodents would decrease because thay have been sprayed with pesticides so now the 1rst level carnivores now have nothing to eat.
If all the carnivores died then the herbivore populations would increase and could either stabilize or drastically drop.
This is because without a limit, a herbivore population could grow too large for its environment and use all of their resources; this would cause the population to grow rapidly until it could not sustain itself and the majority of the large population could die due to lack of resources. Or it could grow somewhat steadily and level off, having a cycle of slightly larger and smaller generations due to resource limits (they would be living within their means).
The organisms would decrease in population after first increasing their population. They would over populate and die off because of lack of food.
bad things
they would just die
same as everything, it would die!!!! same as everything, it would die!!!!
the food chain would have to change
herbivores dont matter. without carnivores no animals would be eaten
Plants produce food Herbivores eat plants Carnivores eat herbivores Thus to keep everyone fed there have to be more plants than there are herbivores to eat them (or the herbivores would starve) and more herbivores than carnivores (or the carnivores would starve).
Herbivores would be forced to range wider.
It would collapse and everything would die
there would be a lot of herbivores and eventually all the herbivores would have eaten most of the grass and some would start dying
Lions feed on mostly herbivores, which includes zebras. Herbivores eat plants, and if there were no more plants, herbivores would starve to death, which would cause lions to turn to other animals for food. They might all die from lack of water before then, though.
Then there would be less grass and food available for other deer and herbivores.
they would just die
the producers would decrease in population as the herbivores which the sharks would have ate, would grow in population.
if all animals would be herbivores then there would be more plant eating animals but plants and trees would not increase and one or the other day all herbivores also will be extinct.
Herbivores compete with other herbivores for the limited food and water available in a desert.
There would not be enough food food energy for sea creatures to survive.
If all the consumers in a food chain died, only the lowest rung of a food chain (the autonomic non-consumer) would survive.
same as everything, it would die!!!! same as everything, it would die!!!!
