Fils de Nico is a French equivalent of the Danish name Clausen. The masculine singular noun, possessive preposition, and masculine diminutive (for Nicolas["Nicholas"]) may be rendered literally into English as "son of Nick." The pronunciation will be "feessd nee-ko" in northerly French and "feess duh nee-ko" in southerly French.
"Hvordan går det?" (litterally how goes it - something like how are things)
In english "how do you do?" is often used as a polite question when meeting someone. In Denmark it's a little different, since you normally want someone to answer and tell you how they are, when you ask "hvordan går det?".
'How are you, my friend?' may be 'Hvordan går det, min ven?' in Danish. However, this could sound a bit strange to a Danish speaker. Your best bet would be to just ask 'Hvordan går det?' or add 'Hej min ven.' before 'Hvordan går det?'
