"The Jewel of the World" was written by the author Ellen Emerson White. The book is a historical novel that follows the story of a young woman named Cory Kostakos who travels to Greece.
The inscription is on the White Jewel, which is among a group of diamonds in the Diamond Mine. It is a tiny letter "O" in the ancient hieroglyphics, which looks like a triangle with an angled "L". Use the magnifying glass to find it, and it should be the 3rd diamond from bottom left. Click on the "take" button.

To find the gem in the tomb on Poptropica's Nabooti Island, you need to solve the puzzles in the correct order. You must first activate the statues in the correct sequence, followed by solving the hieroglyphic puzzle. Once you complete these steps, you will gain access to the hidden chamber where the gem is located.
The hieroglyphics on Nabooti Island are part of a code that needs to be deciphered in order to obtain the location of a hidden treasure. They represent different symbols and sounds in the ancient Egyptian writing system. Players must translate the hieroglyphics using a decoder found in the museum on the island to progress in the game.
There are two sections to the Blue Nile Falls. The one on the left has the woman and her animals trying to cross. The other section is far to the right and has a large rock about halfway down. The bush is on that rock. The only way to reach the cave behind it is to get the woman across the falls with her animals. Once you have done this, the "blue hand" will appear when you point to the cave.
go onto the plane to the Kaya Forest then jump up on the tarp to the house next to it and jump up to the tree
The gazelle is in the bottom right corner and sticks its head out every few seconds, but not so often. ive done it before, but im working on it.
Go up the left side of Blue Nile falls. You will find a blue Egyptian Lily. (You can trade this for a turban at Nabooti.)
On the Safari, you must get "good" pictures of 7 wild animals for Big Zeke. Get a camera by swapping a gold nugget at Nabooti (there is one in the palm tree above the second hut at Kaya Forests).
You have 8 chances to shoot photos of the 7 different animals, and the photos should include most of the entire animal (use the zoom out). When you have a good photo, a green "check mark" appears for the photo. If a red X appears, the photo is not good. You have one "spare" 8th shot. The animals go in and out of view, usually hiding in the trees, so you have to wait for some (like the gazelle) to finally come out.
The 7 animals and their locations in the scene :
This is a classic puzzle. If you leave the fox with the chicken, the fox will eat the chicken. If you leave the chicken with the feed, the chicken will eat the feed. So the chicken must either be with the woman, or by itself. The trick is to cross twice with the chicken.
Now you can open the cave (behind a bush on a rock), at the far right of the falls. The purple jewel is in the cave. There is also a Blue Egyptian Lily at the left above where your plane is.
The four steps to getting the animals across the falls :
The turtle at the Kaya Forests is keeping you from digging there. Go to the Mountains of the Moon. On the upper right trail you will find the Opuntia Fruit (cactus pear). Bring this to Kaya Forests and use it - the tortoise will get up to eat it and you can dig.
To finish Kaya Forests, you'll need a shovel. (Get the Egyptian Lily at Blue Nile Falls, trade it for a turban at Nabooti, and wear it to get a shovel at Giza.) Return to the Kaya Forests and dig up the elephant relic. Jump up high to get the gold nugget from the palm tree. Trade these in at Nabooti, the gold nugget for a camera and the elephant for a "fingo" talisman. The spirits in the Kaya Forests will give you the green jewel.
To enter the tomb at Giza, you have to place the Moonstone in the ring atop the Sphinx.
Mancala has a number of variations in which "seeds" or stones are placed in or removed from a wooden playing dish. Two versions popular in the West are Kalah and Oware (the national game of Ghana).
On the game site Poptropica, mancala is a variation of Kalah, played using a tray with 2 large "player pits" on either side and 12 smaller pits arranged in two rows. At the start of the game, there are 3 pebbles in each of the 12 small pits. Players take turns moving the pebbles from pit to pit, moving clockwise. A pit is chosen on the player's side, and emptied of pebbles by leaving 1 in each pit as they move. If the last pebble lands in the player's own pit, he gets another turn. If the last pebble lands in an empty pit on that player's side, it and the pebbles from the corresponding opponent's pit are scored to the moving player's pit. When either side is empty, all pebbles remaining are go to the player on whose side they remained. The player with the most pebbles wins.

Inside the Sphinx there are four challenges :
(see the related question)
first you turn off the electric fence, then run really fast to the top of the top level and at the very end of the top fence is an opening (looks like a damaged bit of fencing) then enter the mines there. Good luck, I'm still trying to get the Giza opened!
The only place to get the effect seems to be a purchase at the Poptropica Store.
The White Jewel is the only one of the diamonds with a triangular mark on it. Use the magnifier (bottom right) to look at all of the jewels. It should be on the lower left side of the pile.
You get it from the Safari.
Get a camera by going to the Kaya Forest - on the tree next to the hut there is a gold nugget and you can buy the camera back at Nabooti. When you have the camera, go to the Safari, and when you complete it, Big Zeke will give you his old hard hat.
You don't need one. There is a jeweler's loupe (folded magnifier) at the bottom right of the Diamond Mine display of gems.
You need the hardhat from the Safari (get the gold nugget from on top of the second hut at Kaya Forests, trade it for a camera at Nabooti, and take photos of 7 animals for Big Zeke).
