Well, Donald Duck himself doesn't have much to do with it.
However, Donald Duck learns about the Golden Ratio in the 1959 classic Donald in Mathmagic Land. It was nominated for an Academy Award in the same year and is widely regarded as one of Disney's best educational short films.

According to Don Rosa's "The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck" (specifically Chapter 1: The Last of Clan McDuck), young Scrooge's tenth birthday took place in the year 1877. This would put the time of his birth around the year 1867. Sadly, his actual date of birth has never been officially revealed by the Walt Disney Company, though various fans have come up with unofficial birthdays of their own. On a related note, Scrooge was said to have lived a full 100 years until 1967, whereupon his vast fortune may have been bequeathed to his nephews, Huey, Dewey and Louie.
Um maybe because he is a cartoon character aimed at children not zoologists
Yes it is aimed at children, however; the reasoning behind the naming is a little more complex. When a voice artist learns their talent, one of the things they learn is that certain sounds are more remembered than others. This is an example of that same characteristic. The name Donald and the term Duck are both words which start with a consonant followed directly by a vowel. We learn in English grammar that a consonant followed by a vowel flows out, verbally, easier than words which have more than one consonant next to each other. Therefore, it follows; that Donald Duck flows better than Donald Drake. This also works for the ear. The words Donald Duck are easier on the ear (less harsh sounding) than Donald Drake. Therefore the brain picks up on these words easier and tends to remember them better as well. Corrections to this paragraph are greatly accepted. If there are any resources available, it would help. I am quoting myself as I remember reading it while studying grammar and voice training. If I remember incorrectly, please help correct me.
No, this is urban legend. Donald was never actually banned in Finland. In 1977 the city of Helsinki was in financial trouble. They made several budget cuts, one of these being the purchase of Donald Duck comics for the youth centers. The decision was made by Mr. Markku Holopainen. The next year Holopainen ran for a position in the Finnish Parliament. His running adversary labeled him as "the man who banned Donald Duck". The media tabloids took this and ran with it. Thay came up with many different stories, including that he banned Donald due to lack of pants.
So, stop makin dat hit up!!!
Porky's Hare Hunt .
Technically speaking, that was the first cartoon that used a rabbit. Porky's Hare Hunt used the prototype for Bugs Bunny. The first cartoon that used the official Bugs Bunny was A Wild Hare.
Donald Duck was born in the United States from the mind of Walt Disney during the first world war.
Donald Fauntleroy Duck, Fauntleroy is his middle name.
mickey mouse is a MOUSE and donald duck is a DUCK

Daisy Duck's "official" appearance was in the Donald Duck cartoon, Mr. Duck Steps Out released on June 7, 1940.
In the cartoon canon, Mickey's parents are Walter Elias Mouse and Lillian Mouse (née Toponi), named after Walt Disney and his wife Lillian.
Well, Donald and Daisy meet in a music shop, where Donald and Pete were workers there and Daisy was a customer. If you think I am making this up there is a way to see for yourselves. Go onto youtube and type in Music Store Donald. Ta-Da
I don't think Daffy ever had a steady girlfriend. Contrary to what others might say, Daisy Duck is Donald Duck's girlfriend, not Daffy's. Donald and Daisy were created by Disney whereas Daffy was created by Warner Brothers.
Donald Duck and Daisy Duck I believe are boyfriend and girlfriend. They are one of main characters from Walt Disney World. There is also Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Pluto and Chip and Dale. Hope this helped! :P
Donald Duck got his 1st mention in a Walt Disney story book in 1931. His 1st cartoon appearance however was in the Silly Symphonies cartoon "The Wise Little Hen", June 9th, 1934.
Officially the Disney corp lists Donald's birthday as Friday the 13th 1928.
2012- he is 84 years old
2013-85
2014-86
Donald Duck started when Mickey Mouse was losing popularity. After hiring Clarence Nash's voice on the radio, Walt hired him to voice a duck character in a Silly Symphonies cartoon, The Wise Little Hen. The duck was eventually named Donald Duck.
