Carolyn Keene is the pseudonym of the authors of the popular Nancy Drew mystery series. More than twenty men and women assumed the name to write the hundreds of Nancy Drew books.
The first Nancy Drew book she wrote was The Secret of the Old  Clock, which she wrote in 1959.
