Miami Vice is an American crime drama television series. The series centered on Sonny Crockett and Rico Tubbs, two undercover detectives working for the vice division in Miami. After allegations of money-laundering, Don insisted the transactions weren't his and he was eventually cleared.Don is now married to Kelley Phleger and has 5 children. In 1994, Philip became spokesman for the Philip Michael Thomas Psychic Connection, appearing in "psychic" TV commercials using the slogan "From Miami Vice to world advice".The Philip Michael Thomas Psychic Connection later became known as Traffix, and after they replaced Thomas he sued them for money owed over how his name and likeness were used in the commercials. After an eight year dispute, he was awarded 2.3 million dollars.Philip still appears on film an TV occasionally (including in several episodes of "Nash Bridges") and in 2002 he lended his voice to the video game "Grand Theft Auto: Vice City". He is now married and has 14 children, including a boy called Don.The first series of Miami Vice has been released on DVD with more series to follow. A video game "Miami Vice" based on the show has also been released for the PlayStation 2, XBox and PC.Michael Mann, who co-created and executively produced the original series went on to direct the hit films "Heat", "The Insider" and "Collateral" and has recently been writing and directing a film based on the show.
