The NBA draft takes place annually at Madison Square Garden. NBA teams will select amateur basketball players from various colleges and international leagues across the globe. The picks are assigned based on how each team finishes the season, with the worst teams getting the higher picks. The top 3 spots are chosen at random from the 14 teams that did not make the playoffs.
