Driv er's side head front to rear is 1-3-5-7
The other head .........................is 2-4-6-8
The distributor rotor should be pointing to #1 on the cap and to the #1 cylinder when #1 cylinder is at top dead center/TDC. on the compression stroke. Then that means the distributor is in right. GOOD LUCK.
