For vampire books, the VAMPIRE KISSES series by Ellen schreiber is AWESOME! Also the HOUSE OF NIGHT series by P.C. Cast and Kristin Cast. For books that aren't about vampires, EMILY THE STRANGE, though not all of them are by the same person. Also, the BLUE IS FOR NIGHTMARES series by Laurie Faria Stolarz. The DEAD GIRL series, by Linda Joy Singleton. Also, the EVERMORE series by Alyson Noel. If I think of any more, I'll post them.
hatchet by Gary Paulsen
There are a lot of good teen books out there, but some really good ones are Alyzon Whitestarr, The Hermit Thrush Sings, and The Clique.
You and Your High Strung Teen
Richard Paul has some good teen books. He has books like Michael Vey. This book is good to be read by teenagers. Not only are these books available, it's an ongoing series and some books are soon to be released.
Some popular teen book catalogs include Scholastic Book Clubs, Barnes & Noble's Teen Fiction section, and Penguin Random House's Young Adult catalog. You can also check out online retailers like Book Depository and Amazon for a wide selection of teen books.
There are lots of good books for people to read out there, below are some suggestions. There are also lots of books you can read which aren't considered 'teen' books but are really good and can easily be read by teens. The Hunger GamesThe House of NightThe Morganville VampiresGallagher Girls.
The Christy Miller series. It goes by volumes. 3 books per {book} volume.
See The Crystal Cave, by Mary Stewart.
I recommend anything by LJ Smith, Meg Cabot or Sarah Dessen
Some good teen war books include "The Book Thief" by Markus Zusak, "Code Name Verity" by Elizabeth Wein, and "The Boy in the Striped Pajamas" by John Boyne. These books offer powerful stories that explore the impact of war on young people.
Frannie in Pieces. It's a really good book about a girl who is really sad about the death of her father (who she felt was the only one who understood her). I read the whole thing in three hours, that's how good it is.
