If you mean duelist points that you see with that millennium puzzle icon, YOU NEED WI-FI Connection, which is wireless connection, the connection that gives internet through your whole house and laptops. You need that, if you don't have wi fi connection [ wireless connection] you need to buy a wireless router like linksys.
You have to beat people around the world in a duel to get duelist points
If you have wi-fi go to world championship and go to the Nintendo DS Icon: Communications menu and go to WFC setup, then Nintendo Wi-Fi setting, then go to either connection 1,2 or 3. Then go on search for an access point, make sure you have your wireless router set up and then you wait a few seconds and if the bar is full you have your wi-fi working. Then you just go to wi-fi and fight with people over the world.
