The usual 4 to 5 if your normal or take it slow. However, Google CLEP and DSSt credits and you can take exams for 3 credits each and graduate in less than a year, 1 year or 2 years (Depends on your exam pass rate). Make sure your college allows clep and dsst credits to be transferred in...if not find another college. Good luck.

haha none. It takes a good portfolio. I have been doing web design professionally for a few years, and have never taken a class in my life! Some people do need to learn in that setting, but there are plenty of tutorials online and such when you first start, youl need them. I managed to teach myself flash, asp (active server pages) and html. If you are trying to get it at some kind of corporation, an edu might help, but there more interested in your portfolio

If the question is in terms of training, the training takes two to four years. Whether you earn your associates or your bachelors will determine the length of time it takes. Depending on one's level of commitment and creativity, web design can come easily or difficultly to an individual. There are always standards and new technology to know, so actual learning doesn't stop, but a degree can be earned in as little as two years for an associates.

It's important to note that competition is fierce, so a bachelors should be the minimal goal.

There are a range of different degrees available for Web Designers.

Some certificate programs can be completed in only one semester. Associate's degree programs can take two years and bachelors degree's can take four years.

Deciding on which degree is appropriate for you is a personal choice. It all depends on what type of work you want to be doing after you get the degree. There are many options for continuing education that do not include college courses, so you could start with a certificate program to get the basics and then work with a company to build your skills if you wanted to get right into the work force. Look and see what the requirements are for the specific job you want, and see what degree is appropriate.
