If both lowbeam headlights fail at once, it probably isn't the lamps themselves. That would be a fluke. The wiring is usually not at fault. It is vulnerable at the ends where the connectors are because they might become corroded. Check that last. That leaves the two other vulnerable points in the circuit: the fuse and the light switch. Check them out.

It is possible that both of the fuses are bad for the low beam headlights and the cruise control. A loose ground wire could cause the fuses to blow.

Should be coming out of the wiring harness on each side of the car, where the harness is fastened to the radiator support. The ground is bolted to the radiator support on both right and left sides near the headlights- on the back of the radiator support

The circuit requires the hi/lo switch. You'll need to get a replacement switch for everything to complete the headlamp circuitry.

The manual show it in the back but I could never find the screws to which the manual refers. Here is what I did. The replacement lowbeam lamp only fits correctly one way, with the tab on the top. I kept inserting the lamp, removing, and bending the tab until the beam was'aligned' properly.
