There are ways to measure. The first number is the measurement around your rib cage (mine in 32, for example.) The letter(s) is the cup-size for your breasts. (Mine together is a 32AA.) There are certain ways to measure this propery. Otherwise, many stores will offer these measurements to be done.

First measure band right under your breast then measure around the fullest part of your breast. Now subtract band from bust and you find the difference and use the numbers below for example 29" band(usually 32" since bands are made "small") and a 36" bust would be a 32DDD

  • If the two numbers are the same, you need an AA-cup.
  • If the two numbers differ by 1 inch, you need an A-cup.
  • If the two numbers differ by 2 inches, you need a B-cup.
  • If the two numbers differ by 3 inches, you need a C-cup.
  • If the two numbers differ by 4 inches, you need a D-cup.
  • differ 5" DD
  • differ 6" DDD/F
  • differ 7" FF
  • etc etc

If you are a boy (and this is the male puberty section) and you feel that your breasts have grow big enough that they feel uncomfortable either discuss this with your doctor or your parents and see if they feel that you need to wear some form of support. However if you are a boy and you just want to wear a bra, perhaps for sexual reasons, then you can wear one, if you wish, even if you have no breasts at all.

What is a bra size?

it tells you your size for a bra, just like sizes for jeans. its pretty much your boob size. Improved answer: Bra size consists of your band size, the band of the bra that goes around your ribcage under your breasts, and the cup size, the size of the breasts themselves. There are different ways to measure, but in general it's done by measuring just below your breasts, which gives you the band size. Then you measure around the fullest part of your breasts, and the difference between that measurement and the band size gives you your cup size. My band size is 36, and the measurement around my breasts is 14" greater, so my cup size is N. And yes, I have a very hard time finding 36N bras.

How breasts are?

Cup size and circumference of the chest. For example: 34C. 34 is how many inches measured around the chest under the breasts. C is the cup size of the breasts, meaning how large the "cups" need to be in order to hold the breasts.

Get a tape measure and mearure just below your bra, all the way around, round up to the nearest whole inch, add 4 inches, this is you band size. What bra size are you if im 45 inches across the breasts?

Measure around your ribs below your breast to get your rib size. Then measure around your chest over your nipples to get your chest size. Subtract the rib number from the chest size. Finally your bra size is your ribe number an cup letter.

What is that cup size in bra?

The cup size of a bra is the letter in the size, for example the B in "36B" is the cup size. It represents how much larger the breasts are than the measurement around the rib cage.

What is the difference between 36G cup breast and 38G breast?

38g breasts are 1 cup bigger than 36g breasts. 36gg and 38g are the same "cup" size. 38ff and 36g are the same too when you go up in band size, for the same cup,the breasts go bigger.

Is 40c breasts big?

The '40' part of the measurements has nothing to do with the actual size of the breasts.40 is the measurement in inches of the circumference of the chest directly under your breasts. Better known as 'back size'.The 'C' is the cup size. Cup sizes range from anywhere between, AA, A, B, C, D, DD, E, EE, F, FF and so on and so fourth. The cup size is worked out by the circumference of the chest at the widest point of your breasts, minus the 'back size'.A difference of 1inch is an A cup. A difference of 2 inches B cup, 3 inches C cup and so on.The average breast size of a UK woman is 36C, so to answer your question, 40C is a larger than average back size, but average cup size, so no not overly big, every 'body' is different and unique as are every pair of breasts.

How is the cup size measured in a bra?

The cup size of a bra is measured by how much bigger the measurement around your breasts is than the measurement around your rib cage. This means that smaller cup sizes are when the breasts are only a little bit larger than the rib cage, and larger cup sizes are when the breasts are much larger than the rib cage.

What is the average bra cup size for an 11 year old girl?

It depends on your family history and weight/size. For example if your on the skinnier size you probably won't be very developed. But that is completely okay! If your on the chubbier side you could be a larger cup size. If I were to pick an average cup size it would probably be 30A-38A for an 11 year old girl.

What size is a 36 bra in Canada?

A size 36 bra would be the measurement of the rib cage just under the breasts. It does not determine how large the breasts are and is meaningless without taking a measurement around the breasts, which helps determine the cup size.
