What would you like to do?
It affects the ecosystem because if there is a dramatic increase in birthrates, it may over populate the world. If there is an increase in death rates, there will be a dramatic change in population. It's very hard to explain.

National birth rates are expressed as number of live births per year per 1,000 of the population, with population taken at the (estimated) mid-year figure. The estimated bir…th rate for China in 2009 was 14 births for every 1,000 people. (14/1,000) The death rate is expressed in a similar way. The estimated death rate for China in 2009 was 7.06 deaths per 1,000 people. (7.06/1,000) The CIA World Factbook gives the following estimates for China for 2010: Birth rate: 12.17/1,000 Death rate: 6.89/1,000 (sourced June 8, 2010) For more information, see Related links below.

The US death rate for 2007 was 8.0 per 1000 population per year. Overall, these figures indicate that the US population is growing at a rate of approximately 0.6% per year.
How is population size in an ecosystem determined by the relative rates of birth immigration emigration and death?
Birth and immigration both add individuals to a population, increasing the population size. Similarly, deaths and emigration remove individuals, reducing the population. So gr…owth would be equal to the sum of immigration and births, minus the sum of emigration and deaths.
birth rate - 46 per day. death rate - 3 per hour.
The birth rate affects the size of population because of what its like. And the death rate is more than you can imagine.
Answer 1 Death rates have declined because birth rates have declined Answer 2 Death rates have declined due to the advancement in medicine. With better medicine, more pe…ople are surviving until an older age. Birth rates have declined due to improved contraception and birth control.
