There are four forces that act on an airplane:Thrustwhich works against drag
Lift which works against weight (the force of gravity)
When an airplane's lift is higher than its weight, it can climb and take off. If an airplane's lift can not overcome its weight, it will fall from the sky or not take off at all.
In the case of a spacecraft, if it is being launched with the aid of a rocket, the force of the rocket engines will propel the rocket into space. The propulsion force of the launching vehicle will have to be stronger than its weight in order for it to lift off. If the rocket engine(s) fail or are not generating enough force the rocket will fall or not lift off at all.

Sound is a pressure wave. Objects that "allow" sound to travel through them could be called wave guides.
My teacher told me that light can travel through translucent object.
Infrared radiation can only travel through empty space or transparent objects
sound can travel through objects..it needs a medium to travel in so to block it frm getting frm one point to another u introduce a vacuum in between
It just doesn't :)
No. They travel through water and solid objects also.
Airplanes travel through the stratosphere and the ozone layer is between the mesosphere ans stratosphere!!!!
Sound can travel through most solid objects, as well as liquids. The vibrations transfer from molecule to molecule, but can be refracted or reflected by gaps or distortions within the matter.
To travel
Sound is a longitudinal wavelength that has wavelength, velocity, frequency and amplitude. It travels through solid objects by going through vibration.
There are many materials that light can not travel through which are called opaque objects.
