Tools 2. rules and alerts 3. new rule 4. start from a blank rule 5. check messages when they arrive <next> 6. check "from people or distribution list" 7. at the bottom of the same screen (step 2), click on "people or distribution list". Then, put the email address in the "from" section (hit OK) <next> 8. Choose what you want to do with the message. Delete it? I choose "have server reply using a message" 9. at the bottom of the same screen (step 2), click on message. In the body of the email, put "your email address has been blocked". (save and close--at top left) <next> (When they send you an email, the rule automatically sends this email in return). You will still get the email unless you choose to delete it. But, the sender knows they are being blocked by you. 10. select exceptions if wanted <next> 11. Then it asks you if you want to turn the rule on. <select or deselect> <finish> 12. the rule you just created is still in your rule section even if you do not choose to turn it on at that time.
