"Fixing" a wiring harness, never seems to turn out well. Even for a pro. I would suggest you get a hold of someone like Year 1, or another reproduction company. Purchasing a new one, would be a drop in the bucket, compared to the bill the fire dept., may hand you along side the highway, after extinguishing the flames from your soon to be very valuable old Chevy. Now, your harness is exactly the same for the Camaro, of the same year.
