It has two signs:
1. To believe in Him completely, that is, to believe, without a shadow of a doubt, correctly as Ahl as-Sunnatscholars communicated.
2. To serve His servants in their worldly and otherworldly affairs. It brings much thawâb to serve them in their worldly affairs, such as relieving a person's burden or donating money. The purport of a hadîth-i sharîf is as follows:
(Human beings are Allah's servants. The person whom Allahu ta'âlâ loves most is the one who does goodness to His servants.) [Bazzar]
It is very valuable to save a person who is burning in a fire. But it is nothing compared with saving a person from the Hell-fire. Therefore, the most valuable serving is to try to secure their hereafter. In other words, if they are not Muslims, we must strive to be instrumental in their converting to Islam. If they are Muslims, then we must strive to be instrumental in their learning Islam correctly. Today, the easiest way to achieve this is to present a proper Islamic book to them.

Going to heaven will take place after we die and after the Day of Judgement. You continue saying Allah to put you in the heaven and show it in your actions that you really want it. Love Allah, because Allah says that "I will not meet those who don't want to meet Me!" A person wants to meet someone who s/he loves. How can you love Allah? Allah says in the Qur'an that: "Say (O Muhammad pbuh), 'If you love Allah, then follow me, so that Allah loved you too.'" Follow prophet Muhammad's pbuh teachings and want the salvation from Allah. Why is sunna important?
The sunnah is important firstly because Allah commands the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah upon him and his family, "Say (O' Messenger of Allah, Muhammad), 'If you love Allah, then follow me, Allah will love you and forgive you your sins. And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.' (3:31). Also, the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah upon him, warned those who would state that they obey the Qur'an while ignoring his sunnah. The Messenger of Allah, upon whom be eternal felicitation and blessings, commanded believers to adhere to his sunnah as much as possible (as well as the sunnah of the rightly guided Khalifs, i.e. Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman, and Ali). Finally, believer draw near to Allah through firstly fulfilling obligatory actions and then acting upon supererogatory acts of worship which are derived from his, upon whom be peace and blessings, sunnah. Adhering to the sunnah is the way believer demonstrate their love of Allah and His Messenger, peace and blessings of Allah upon him and his family.
