When one of my dogs stopped eating his dry food, I started adding a little water or chicken broth to it and microwaving it for 20 seconds. He devoured it. Sometimes dogs just get bored with what they're eating.

∙ 14y agoIf your dog will only eat wet food then it has got used to eating it. if you want to change back then take it slowly. one night feed him wet food then the next night feed him dry food if he doesn't eat then he will go to bed hungry but make sure he eats the next day please. eventually increase the amount of dry food and he should change. you can also try mixing wet food with dry food and every night increase the amount of dry food in it.

How do you get your dog to eat?
Stop feeding the dog table food. Sooner or later the dog will eat the food you place in from of him/her; Even dog food. Also make sure your dog likes the food, first of all. Most dogs especially like any kind of wet dog food, so try mixing some wet food with the dry, but not too much. What I would do is just don't feed the dog any thing but leave the dog food out.........Then he/she will eventually go eat it... Or you can give him/her the good food then if the dog wont eat it show him/her a piece of steak or something that she loves and drop it in the bowl that's is what i do with my dogs. Another thing to do is to not leave food lying around for them all of the time. If you feed them only at specific times, they will become hungry if they miss one feeding. Then, at the next feeding time they will most likely eat their food. ======================= Feed them a balanced raw meat diet. Not only will they have great dental health but their stools will have ZERO smell. And the dogs LOVE it.
