The Armenian "genocide" is a topic with a great deal of disagreement amongst historians. One should thoroughly investigate the topic by reading all viewpoints and not settle for popular Propaganda.
CommentThe Turkish government denies the Armenian genocide with all the energy of Neo-Nazis denying the Holocaust. That remark about 'popular propaganda' is offensive. There is very little disagreement among historians. There were non-Armenian witnesses including Armin T. Wegner - a man of the highest integrity. He took most of the known photos and smuggled them back to Germany. There have never been any international criminal trials or civil trials concerning the Armenian Genocide since Turkey has effectively prevented many major countries from recognizing the genocide. So, no conspirator in the genocide, of which a large minority were Kurds, has ever been brought to justice. However, unlike the Turks, several Kurds have apologized and sought forgiveness for the crimes of the Armenian Genocide or have been active in promoting the recognition of the Armenian Genocide.
