A man needing help was walking around New York City. He stopped an older gentleman and asked him "Excuse me... how do you get to Carnegie Hall?" The gentleman replied... "Practice, practice, practice..."
tell them that you already know the answer, and the best thing for them to do is to let you hear it from them directly, or risk losing you all together.
you could tell them some random thing that has no connection to the topic and then you could go and like continue doing that until they blurt out the answer.
No one that cares about you will tell you how to make a lie believable. When you lie you are not only lying to yourself, but one lie leads to another and sooner or later you will be caught in your own lie. If you have any respect for yourself then learn to tell the truth for starters. It's refreshing!
In my experience there are no spells, brews, elixirs, etc that can force someone to tell the truth. Magic should not be used to coerce someone into doing anything they do not want to do, no matter if it is believed to be the "right" thing to do or not.
Magic is rarely the answer for this sort of thing. Someone who is telling an untruth usually has a very good personal reason for doing so, and would not readily give up their lie.
But if, after all of that, you still must make a liar tell the truth, the whole truth, nothing but the embarrassing truth, there is a way. On the Island of Thermyscria, there is a lasso, forged by the god Hephaestus from the Golden Girdle of Gaea that was once worn by Antiope, sister of Hippolyta. I'm told it is currently in the possession of Hippolyta's daughter, Diana. The good news is, despite her superhuman amazonian strength, Diana can be rendered powerless if you manage to bind her bracelets for some chauvinistic reason.

say this: '' if you were lying your ears would be really hot and wet and you wouldn't even know'' if they touch their ears there's a change their lying to you.
but if theres more than one person, put them together and say
I know that the liar here is the person with the hot sweaty ear's.
the liar would get nervous and check if his ear's really are sweating.
I hope this helps
Usually, you will just have to wait, only time will tell! Soon they will start fighting with themself, or you can just keep riding them. They will soon become tired of you and just spit it out.

There is however a spell that can use on yourself to detect the truth when heard. I have only had occasion to see the use of it once, and the practitioner was well advanced in years and experience. I can not say for certain it would work accurately for anyone without that much experience
Misdirection, half-truths, plausible scenarios.
See Television show, "Lie to Me."

The superlative of "believable" is "most believable."
Yes, the characters in the book seem real because they have complex personalities and struggle with relatable issues such as family conflicts and identity crises. Hinton makes them believable by giving them distinct voices, emotions, and motivations that readers can empathize with. Additionally, she portrays their interactions and relationships in a realistic and authentic manner, adding layers of depth to their characterization.
To seem cooler to their friends. I don't see the point in having to do something so petty to seem cooler to my friends, in fact it would make me seem more pathetic if they found the truth.
