How can you make the artificial stone by yourself and what are the materials you need?

There is a school, in Washington state, I believe, that teaches artificial stone construction....very hands-on from what I hear...and a little spendy.

You can take insulfoam board, obviously thick, cut it down to desired size then flash it with a hand held torch, just enough to soften the edges. then you can color it to your desired color with stain, actually looks kinda cool ~ You can also glue foam boards together to make to "stones" thicker, then flash the edges with your torch to hide the seam line~ have fun and have water handy, just in case, plus do this project outdoors, gets a bit smokey
