An Automotive Water Pump That Is Bad Will Leak Out The Shaft Where The Pulley Goes. Or The Shaft Will Break Off. Otherwise You Have A Different Problem. Your car will overheat or not even start. You will smell antifreeze and or notice you have to put in alot of fluids. You will see leakage under the pump or around inside of engine compartment.
