Best Answer

The coldest cold that is is 0 (zero) degrees Kelvin

which is -273.15 degrees Celsius

or - 459.67 degrees Fahrenheit

But it's hard to get something that cold since the temperature of the Universe is about 5 degrees Kelvin, and heat flows from hotter to colder .

Ambient temperature is the term for the temp around something - that is the temperature that all items tend to cool to.

Ice can exist at any temperature below 0oC - and as the lowest possible temperature is absolute zero (approximately -273oC), this is as cold as ice can get. (Note that issues of pressure are left out of this discussion.)

Why will earth become cold without sun what makes earth cold i think space?

The earth would be cold because the earth wouldn't be getting any heat from the sun, so the earth would become one big ball of ice and everything would die. The earth isn't cold because it has a core which is over 5000'c. It only feels cold in the day because the cloud's block all of the heat, or there is a cold wind. If it is cold at night then it means there ane no clouds keeping the heat in.
