∙ 12y agoAdolf Hitler didn't "TAKE" power. Contrary to popular assumption spread out by the victors of WWII, Hitler came to power after winning the 1933 German General Elections.
This landslide victory gave the National Socialist Partyan astounding 43.9 % of votes ( 288 seats in the German Parliament )
The second most voted party was the so called Social Democratic Party, with just 18.3 % of votes ( 120 seats in the German Bundestag ).

All the people believed him and were willing to cooperate with him and do whatever they had to to make Germany the most powerful nation.
