Jeff hardy did not break his neck..if you are talking about the match between him and randy orton Jeff swanton bombed off of a really tall tower and injured himself but Jeff walked out of the hospital that night orton had to stay the night

Yes he was but he also got hit by firecrakers when he was coming out so he didnt come back on January 17,he came back on the ammerdagon.

∙ 12y agohe had to retire from the wwe in 2009 with a fight against cm punk and Jeff lost so he had to leave the wwe forever
the actual reason was that he was on a drug use, he used steroids and alot a different drugs...cocain...etc...
he had gotten evicted for i don't know exactly but for like 5 - 7yr in prision, but his brother Matt hardy had bailed him out
