Elijah is a prophet from the Old Testament. The title of saint is usually reserved for those entering Heaven after the death of Our Lord - New Testament. Elijah is most likely in Heaven but was never officially declared a saint.

St. Elijah, also known as the Prophet Elijah, is considered a saint in both Christianity and Islam due to his devotion to God, miracles performed, and his faithfulness to his prophetic call. In Christianity, he is especially venerated for his role in the Old Testament and is regarded as a precursor to John the Baptist. His righteousness, courage, and unwavering faith are central to his saintly status.
