The school may ask you to speak with a counselor, contact your parents, or recommend that you seek treatment..A friend of mine had an eating disorder and when she didn't confess they contacted her parents anyway, either way the school is just trying to help and if they suspect something be honest.
The things is that, the person with eating disorder eats, uncontrolled and they wont think at all before eating, so in magazine what ever they see, they use to thing of having dat, and this affects their eating habit.
I think anorexia, or bulimia.
Chewing a certain number of times sounds more like OCD than an eating disorder. I would ask her about it, don't attack her or embarrass her just casual conversation. Let her know that if she needs support you will be there for her.
I think you should see a doctor about that............................... No-psychological.
i would have to say no. a vaccine is something that prevents a disease. bulimia is an eating disorder. i dont think there is a vaccine for an eating disorder. sorry.
Yes. That would probably be BDD (Body Dismorphic Disorder) or EDNOS (Eatin Disorder Not Otherwise Specified).
An eating Disorder is when someone has a problem were they think they're fat. Then they don't eat or if the do they make themselves sick after... ( I think...) :)
If you are not hungry, that is not a sign of an eating disorder. Not eating because you think you are fat can be a sign of an eating disorder. Most people with anorexia or bulimia have body dysphoric disorder, where they cannot really judge how they look. Regardless, skipping meals is unhealthy at any level.
You should consult your doctor immediately if you think you have an eating disorder. If your doctor feels that medication would assist you with your disorder then one will be prescribed for you.
Anorexia nervosa I think.
The best thing to do would be to get them professional help.
