the diet austronauts have in space is fairly similar to what we'd have on earth, except for maybe a higher dosage of vitamin D supplements to counteract not getting any sunlight. they also need to be aware of the fact that they're losing muscle tissue due to zero gravity. eating in space has become more and more similar to eating on earth: cargo spacecraft has made it possible to eat dishes that look (other than the airtight packaging) just like dishes from home.
