hi am just a newbie in a electronics but with the little knowledge i got, well, when a capacitor is connected with a transistor, the circuit can act like a multivibrator i.e charge and discharge to the transistor base as in timer circuit. When the capacitor is connected to the power supply e.g battery,it will charge to an extent that the charge in it will be equal to the charge the base of the transistor will need to turn the transistor on,say 0.7v and when the transistor is on then the collector will start work.

NOTE:this process happens in milli seconds and also that i might be wrong somewhere so lets research more to get the answers.this is for my fellow newbies in ELECTRONICS.

Circuit patterns are the collections of transistors, capacitors, and associated components and their interconnections.

What is the composition of RAM in terms of transistors and capacitors?

Composition of ram: There are many transistors layed for addressing (accessing specific modules) then there are a series of transistors coupled to a capasitor. That allows for one bit of data to be stored.

What is a collection of millions of tiny electrical switches compose the central part of a computer?

Every computer must have a processor to do the work. To build a micro processor means assembling a large number of transistors, capacitors, and resistors into a small package

What is meant by commutation?

Usually commutating Capacitors are used in bistable multivibrators. To change the states of two transistors in bistable MVs, a trigger is applied. But due to the capacitance at base of transistor it takes sometime (delay) to change the state. To overcome this problem Commutating capacitors are used. So these are also known as Speed up capacitors or Transpose Capacitors as they speed up the operation.
