I'm going to have to point you to the sites that have lists of what you want. One list has 80 flowers, another has 35 flowers, another has 15 with pictures and details. Some of the lists give different meanings to the same flower, such as Mums stand for long life on one list, and excitement on another, and Iris stands for death, or maybe faith or wisdom.

I suggest you compare several lists, and see which meanings "feel" right.

They are a symbol of the cycle of birth, life and death. They are also a sign of nature and femininity. Different flowers have different meanings. For example, a lotus flower and a rose both mean spirituality (A lotus flower is mainly recognised as a symbol of spirituality in the East and the rose for the West). The Iris flower symbolises death, as the Greek God Iris transported women's souls to the underworld, and it's three petals show faith, valour and wisdom. Different colours mean different thing too. White for purity, red for passion etc.
