press remote unlock button twice
You can not open the rear hatch door from the inside.
how do i open the fuse panel on a 2002 mercury mountaineer
my 1998 mountaineer hood release will not work. Is there another way to open it?
I'm thinking that you're talking about your rear "trunk" door. If so, from my understanding, you cannot open it from the inside. To double check this, you can look in the owner's manual for your vehicle.
Have you checked the rear hatch glass ?? Open it and reclose it firmly.
in the rear trunk/hatch. First you open the hatch look to your left and you will see the jack door. Open the door and if you look to the right of the door you will see a box this is the code box. DO NOT REMOVE it. just have a flashlight handy and try your best to look between the box and the truck you will see the # in there
There are two fuse boxes inside of your Mountaineer. the first is when you open the drivers door. it is on the left side of the steering wheel in between the door and the dash. you have to have the door open to access it. The second is under the hood. you have to open the hood and it will be twards the back on the drivers side. it should be on top. it is a black box. hope this helps.
On a 2007 Mercury Mountaineer : Open the drivers door and on the end of the door ( or the latch pillar ) you will see an information sticker that shows the original size tires on the vehicle from the factory
Follow the instructions on Youtube.
On your 1997 Mercury Mountaineer : Open the rear doors from the outside and on the end of the doors near the latch you will see a small lever that is used to select child locks on or off
( 2 ) There is a fuse panel in the end of the dash on the drivers side ( the plastic fuse panel cover is visible with the drivers door open ) and the Power Distribution Box in the engine compartment on the 1997 to 2001 Mercury Mountaineer
Actually , the first model year of the Mercury Mountaineer sport utility vehicle was 1997 and if you open the drivers door , on the end of the door you will see an information sticker that will show the size of the tire that originally came on the vehicle
