Generally there are no applications for section a online. However, there may be pre-applications for the waiting list that are filled out online. Generally it will ask for some basic information, which will include eligibility questions and your current home address and telephone number.

To get an section 8 application you need to go to your local housing authority and ask them when they are accepting applications. Also with them you may be able to receive public housing. I have section 8 myself. You Cannot apply online. You must contact your local housing dept. For example: Call in formation 411 and ask for your towns housing authority.:, ex;Lowell Housing Authority, if your town doesnt have one, ask for the surrounding towns housing authority phone number No after the revisions past in October it has to be filed with a lawyer

First, you must see if your Housing Authority has an open waiting list. If it does, you need to add your name to it. If not, you will have to wait and check periodically to see when or if the list is open. Once you've added your name to the waiting list you will have to wait - at least five years in most urban jurisdictions - for your name to come up on the list. When this happens, the Housing Authority will notify you by mail, and will send forms for you to complete and return with information requested. And the process is not yet complete: you will be interviewed and have to be accepted by the program to receive a voucher. If you are accepted a voucher will be issued to you, whereupon you have 60 days to find a rental unit, or get your present landlord to accept vouchers.

You can apply for Section 8 Housing for free at any housing authority that has that capability. It should be noted that anyone who charges for this type of service is violating Federal Laws.
