Information about IRDA exam :
Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority exam is mainly
conducted for the recruitment of candidates in to the insurance
segment for the post of agents dealing with insurance. This is an All
India Level examination which is conducted every year by the
Insurance Institute of India. This is a government agency that is IRDA which issues license to the qualified individuals to work for the post of
Insurance agents in India. The minimum educational ability for attending this exam is that the
you should have complete the 12th class from a recognized school or
an institution. The age should be not less than 21 years. you need to
complete or attend the practical class from any reputed and recognized
institute relating to the general insurance aspects. How to Apply for IRDA? *After clearing the IRDA exam, fill the application form to get the
license
*Fees for application form for license Rs. 250/-
*After filling the form, the license will be received within a span of 4
days
*License validity is 3 years *After the expiry date the license has to be renewed
*Every license contains an agency code
*It is a legalized license to people who want to start their career in the
insurance field.

How do you get irda Duplicate License?
Sir/Madam There are many departments in which one can acquire a license. For example motor,engg,fire,hull,marine cargo. LOP etc. it depends on ur area of interest, for example to get a license as a surveyor in motor dept on has to have a degree or diploma(not less than 3 years) from a recognised university, he has to undergo a training under a licensed surveyor, who is awarded a B category by IRDA he has to submit 4 quarterly reports to IRDA (one Year), after he is done with the training he has to apply for the examination which are conducted Insurance institute of India, mumbai. exams are normally conducted in may and oct principles and basics of insurance survey and loss assessment is a mandatory paper, other is motor(or any other which u have been trained for) min marks are 50(pass) no limit for appearing after clearing ur papers u can apply for a license with IRDA its a job of high responsibility, so IRDA has raised the bar for qualification and passing of the exams for the candidates, last but not the least its very difficult to get a license to act as a surveyor and loss assessor but its worth going for if so, best of luck for ur future endeavors suleman khan surveyor & loss assessor
