To care for a toad(frog) u need to have a fun envierment and a big cage so they can hop around. Toads(frogs) They like to eat flys or small insects. Toads(frogs) do not eat lettus. To cheak if the toad(frog) is living look under its mouth nd if u see it chin blubber going in and out then that means the toad(frog) is living.
FIRST THING YOU SHOULD DO IS GET A TANK FOR YOUR TOAD. PUT A LAYER OF ROCKS AT THE BOTTOM THEN PUT SOME DIRT. FEEDING YOUR TOAD IS EASY. THEY EAT CRICKETS, WORMS, GRASS HOPPERS, GRUBS, AND MOTHS. YOU CAN BUY THEM AT SOME PET STORES. NEVER GIVE YOUR TOAD TAP WATER. IT WILL KILL HIM! YOU CAN COLLECT RAIN WATER OR USE BOTTLED SPRING WATER. OH AND I ALMOST FORGOT DONT KILL HIS FOOD THEY LIKE TO EAT THERE FOOD ALIVE. WHEN YOUR PET IS FAT HE IS HEALTHY IF HE IS SKINNY HE IS PROBABLY ABOUT TO DIE.
Wild frogs and toads do not do well in captivity. It will likely die no matter what care you try to give it. I would recommend setting it free. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
OK i have answered this, go to the ask and type how do you take care of a toad over night and there is the answer down by the answer just read it
livi 8)I would recommend a tank with half water and half land with plenty of hiding spaces (i.e. rocks, branches, plants...) and most likely feed them wingless fruit flies.
Most of the toads you find in your yard need just a little water (so a shallow bowl in the terrarium will do), they are not as aquatic as some frogs and may only "hang out" in water during breeding season. Frogs and toads will eat about anything that moves that fits in their mouths, from flies to grasshoppers, crickets, slugs, beetles, dragonflies, bees, etc. You can get food crickets at some pet stores if you don't feel like catching bugs. Make sure they have enough room and keep the terrarium clean.
take any container about 1- 1/2 feet long and a foot wide that's about a foot or more tall. then make sure that it has no chemical smell that might kill the toad. next, fill the bottom with dirt and put a water container low enough so the toad can jump in, fill it with water. next, add small stones and sprinkle grass blades in. finally go to the pet store get some small or medium cricets ( make sure when feeding they are live) put one in a day.
Keep them in a toad cage. It should have ample food, water, and a hiding spot. If it is a tropical species you may want to get a heat lamp. Also, keep other pets away from toads.
Well you need a small square habitat! it needs rocks grass and little bit of water! and you are set!
About a few months
get a box and put, ok i have told some one elss so in the ask and type , how to take care of a toad over night ,and there you go
most likely not, but make sure the adult toad doesn`t take food, space or any freedom from the baby toad. They should both get the same amount of attention.
