Admittedly, I have done it, using a brake spreader. Pain in the butt.
I now just leave it up to a mechanic to do it correctly. Fortunately, mine did his apprenticeship at Kloster Fraud on the 98 AU. Now he works elsewhere.
You have to change the whole rearend and the master cylinder.

no, there isn't. The Oldmobile 98 that you have is equipped with front disc brakes and drum rear brakes.
My 98 LS has 4 wheel disc brakes. I would not be surprised though if some have drum type brakes in the back - maybe dependent on which motor the vehicle has.
You may want to take your car to a shop for it to be looked at and maby they can tell you after it has been checked.
You would adjust the brakes on a vehicle with abs brakes the same way you would adjust the brakes on a vehicle without abs brakes.

Camry 98 has drum based rear brakes.
there is a rubber plug on the back of the brake plate below the axle, pop this off and use a flat bladed screwdriver stuck into to rotate the star to loosen the brakes.
Only God knows what your saying, try reading what you post... Rear disc brakes, have e-brake shoes inside of the brake rotor.
