front or rear brakes. if it is the front brakes you'll nee a basic set of sockets, socket wrench, C-Clamp, and a beefy hammer.

1. take off the wheel. (will require a 21mm socket.)

2. remove the two bolts from the caliper (what squeezes the brake pads)-should be either a 12mm socket or 14mm socket.

3. Use the large c-Clamp to slowly depress the caliper piston. SLOWLY(again the part that squeezes the brake pads.)some brake fluid may spill out of the brake master- this is ok

4. remove the brake saddle.(what the brake pads actually sit in.) -should be a 17mm or 19mm socket. two bolts again

5.be sure that the rubber boots on the saddle are not torn and that the slide pins move freely back and forth. use a small wire brush to clean off saddle surface where brake pad sits. Also, check to make sure the brake pads wore somewhat evenly. if one pad has full friction material ad the other has none, there is a problem with your braking system.

6. remove the rotor. Use the hammer to do this, you will need to hit the rotor several times very hard around the hub. DO NOT hit the wheel studs!

7. before installing new rotor check hub surface to make sure it is relatively flat.(no chunks of rust etc.) if it is not you will need to scrape off anything on there or else you will have a brake pulsation.

8. clean residue off of rotor with soapy water.

9. install rotor. it should sit flush with hub, but may fall slightly off-this is ok.

10. install brake saddle.

11. install brake pads. (it is important that you make sure rotor is flush with hub before installing caliper. )

12. install caliper, make sure that the slide pins do not block the caliper from sliding into place.

13. install wheel.

14. MOST IMPORTANT STEP- pump the brake pedal repeatedly until it builds up pressure. DO NOT put into drive or reverse before doing this, you will not be able to stop. Pumping the brake pedal will push the caliper piston out to squeeze the brake pads.

How do you change radio on 1996 Camry?

Since the wires in a Toyota are all different colors, all you have to do is go to a car radio store and ask for a car stereo Toyota wiring harness. It will come with intructions but basically all you have to do is plug that thing into the cars factory harness and hook the stereo up. It worked for my Camry 1990
