Android is a Linux OS
look in your users manual
Yes. Linux will at least boot on virtually every motherboard in existence. I see no hardware components on the board that I know to be unsupported by Linux, so you should have full use of the board.
Any mid-range desktop or laptop would be suitable for use with Linux and have enough power for web design. Dells, Acers, and ASUS laptops tend to have high compatibility with Linux (I would not get an ASUS Eee PC for web design, as it is slow and has a low resolution).
The Asus A626 is indeed compatible with your HP laptop, or any computer running Windows XP or later.
I have an asus eee pc and upgraded the os and browser in about 5 mins. I used the console. Search on google "Install advanced desktop on Asus eee pc". Hope this helps :)
hey there - i put up this post on the skype forum pages as i had the same problem and it nearly drove me mad as small as it may be!! hang on in there with Linux as i think Linux is far superior to Windows - no bloat and so much more stable than Windows link to answer on skype forum below: http://forum.skype.com/index.php?showtopic=189111
The ASUS My Cinema-U3100-Mini is compatible (as long as you have a recent kernel) and is about $59.
The Eee PC should have come with a CD to reinstall Linux. If you do not have this disc, then the only way you could install the version of Linux that was on the Eee (Xandros) would be if you had an image of the hard drive before you formatted it. Note that there are other Linux distros customized for the Eee PC that are available free of charge if you want to try another Linux distro.
ASUS Eee PC 1000 is a PC-compatible system. that also runs Linux, but not Mac.
No, an Asus X551 laptop cannot run DayZ or any video game requiring a dedicated graphics card. The Asus X551 uses an integrated Intel HD graphics chipset which is insufficient for running higher-end video games.
