There is a belt tensioner at or near the top of the belt run area. It has a pulley on it and is spring loaded, plus it has a provision for a wrench to be attached or inserted into it. Simply use your wrench to release the tension and you will find it is easy to remove the belt. Before you do anything, observe how the old belt runs across the pulleys so you can replace it properly.
