- -Originial Answer - - You can buy adaptors for this. Make sure you use the regulator that came with the stove.

- -Discussion - - Where can you buy these adaptors? For example if you have a portable stove/heater that uses the disposable cannister type 1A-MSF and you want to connect to a tank. I have searched the net and left messages on camping forum websites, but haven't found one yet.......

Are you referring to tank price or bulk price? Tanks - small ones like your grill takes are about $25 most places. Bulk propane is sold by the pound and price can vary widely. If you have a contract it may be $17 a pound. Without one, it can be more.

Can you connect a 20 lb propane tank to a house water heater?

Given sufficient ingenuity and equipment you could. Whether it is safe to do so is another matter entirely. I noticed on my gas grill that it appears the fittings could match up (it would mean removing pieces from the grill) I just cant afford the 265.00 they want for the 100gallon min delivery of propane. when I only went through about 2.5 gallons per month from the bulk tank.

How much do portable toilets cost?

Portable toilets can cost a variety of prices depending on the type. A pretty basic one costs roughly 800 dollars new. If you prefer, you can purchase a used portable toilet for $250-$300 dollars from suppliers like Don's Johns, Inc. and others that directly sell used Porta Potties as they update their inventory. Reduced rates are considered when purchased in bulk and you can also purchase Fiberglass units that are available starting at around $100.

How much is propane per gallon?

$3.44 gallon and national average is $2.44 Heritage Propane is ripping me off. Pinellas County From Heritage Propane we asked for an itemized bill for the year. They had replaced some propane that had leaked out, on the bill it was listed as "Residential Bulk" and came to 42 gallons for 83.58 or $1.99 per gallon (1/23/2012) which they reimbursed us for. On the same date there is another "Residential Bulk" charge for 19.6 gallons at $39.00 or $1.99 per gallon. The next time our tank was topped off (3/19/2012) we got 41.3 gallons for $190.66 or $4.61 per gallon, a difference of $2.62 per gallon. We are in the process of trying to find out why there is a discrepancy. I don't think that the price of propane has inflated that much in two months, and a mark-up of $2.62/gallon (226% of the "bulk" price) seems excessive to me. In short, according to the last bill we received from Heritage Propane (Tampa, FL) on 3/19/2012, the price per gallon is $4.61/gallon (41.3 gallons for 190.66...not including the Trans Fuel Charge of $5.00, and "Regulatory Compliance" of $9.96).
